Questions, answered

Short answers about a visit. For anything else, call or send a message.

Should I ask my doctor or midwife first?

Yes. Please ask your doctor or midwife before you book, and tell your therapist how far along you are. If your provider has asked you to wait, we wait for their go-ahead. After the birth we ask for it too.

How will I be positioned?

On your side, on a table with a long pillow between your knees and wedges and bolsters where you want them. You can change position whenever you like.

What do I wear?

Whatever is comfortable. You are covered by a sheet the whole time, and only the part we are working on is uncovered. Your belly stays covered and supported.

Can my doula or partner come in?

They are welcome for the first few minutes, to share what you would like. After that the session is yours, and they can wait in the front room.

Can I bring my baby?

After the birth, yes, in a carrier or a car seat. We stop whenever you need to feed or hold them, and the clock stops with us.

How long is a session?

Prenatal sessions run 45, 60 or 90 minutes. Postpartum sessions run 60 or 75. You can add 15 or 30 minutes when you book or on the day.

What if I need to stop?

Tell us, and we stop right away. You can pause, change position or end the session at any time, for any reason.

Do you work in the evening?

Yes. Tuesday to Thursday we are open until 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday we are open in the daytime.

How does pricing work?

Price follows the length of the session and the therapist you book. It shows on the booking page before you confirm.
